The car just left the paint booth on 30 Jun 04. A friend of mine (who's car is on this web site) painted it. The SS stripes are about an inch and a half wider than factory to accomodate the 4 inch cowl hood. The paint is Manderine Orange (single stage) and GM white (base-coat/clear-coat) by PPG.

We have replaced the hood, fenders, doors, bumpers, quarter panel patches, front glass, rear glass, and passenger front glass. This car has been blocked to within and inch of it's life. That is the only way to get it straight. The best tool, two paint paddles taped together.

This is not an SS car but it is ours and we are very proud of it.  Except for the paint, everything was done in my garage by my wife and I. It took a lot of my free time between deployments to the Middle East (yes, I'm in the Army).
